Terms and Conditions - Cuba Calling

Due to factors associated with international travel it is unrealistic to expect prices to remain stable - particularly when they are dependent on foreign currency exchange rates. Prices in this brochure are based on costs and exchange rates as at July 2017. Should these costs or exchange rates alter, a surcharge may be made on the price of your tour. If tour prices increase by more than 10% you will have the right to cancel within 7 days of notification of the surcharge without penalty. No surcharge in respect of cost or currency fluctuations will be made once payment of the deposit on your tour is received. This guarantee excludes fuel surcharges and does not apply to any taxes, charges or levies imposed by any government or its agencies. In exchange for these guarantees no refund will be made if costs are reduced.

Deposits and Payments
A non-refundable deposit of $750 per person, per tour, is required within 7 days of receipt of booking confirmation. Final payment is due 60 days prior to the commencement of all tours.

Late Bookings
Payment in full is required at time of booking for reservations made less than 60 days before tour departure. If reservation cannot be confirmed, all funds will be refunded.

Cancellation by Passenger
Cancellations for tours and additional services must be received in writing and the following fees will apply: If the cancellation is received in our office: Applicable fee as %age of total price:
1. More than 60 days before tour commences Nonrefundable deposit
2. Between 60 days & 30 days before tour commences 25%
3. Between 29 days & 15 days before tour commences 50%
4. Between 14 days & 07 days before tour commences 75%
5. Between 06 days & the day tour commences 100%
These cancellation fees are in addition to any cancellation fees that may be levied by your Travel Agent. We strongly recommend Travel Insurance to cover cancellation charges. Please consult with your Travel Agent at time of booking. There is no refund for unused services or land arrangements if they are missed.

Cancellation by EuroVista
EuroVista will operate each of the scheduled tours advertised in this brochure once the minimum number of 10 paying passengers per tour is attained. Eurovista reserves the right to cancel any tour departure which does not attain the minimum number of paying passengers. EuroVista Holidays also reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. Should this occur EuroVista Holidays will offer you an alternative tour. If there is a difference in cost this will be for your account. You will have 7 days from the time of our notification of the alternative tour to advise us of your course of action. If you do not accept the alternative tour within the 7 days, EuroVista Holidays Ltd will treat this contract as at an end, refund all monies including your deposit, and will then be under no further liability. EuroVista Holidays Ltd is not responsible for the costs of other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellation or rescheduling of any tour departure.

Included In Our Tour Price
All coach//rail travel, airport/hotel/airport transfers, accommodation, sightseeing, admissions, taxes and all gratuities for services provided by EuroVista, portage of one bag per person (except at airports and some railway stations), services of a Tour Director, Driver, and meals (as indicated in the itinerary). Note: If there is a maximum of 10 passengers on a tour a 16-seat mini-coach will be utilised. A 30-seat coach will be utilised for 11-15 passengers.

Not Included In Our Tour Price
Airport taxes, airfares (except where specified), lunches and dinners (except where specified), drinks, laundry, passport and visa fees, excess baggage and all items of a personal nature are not included in the tour price.

In the interests of other passenger's comfort there is no smoking on our vehicles.

Refunds and Amendment Fees
No refunds will be made on services that are voluntarily un-availed (including, but not limited to, missed meals and sightseeing). The Company also regrets that no refunds will be made for withdrawal from a tour (due to illness or any other reason) after the tour has commenced. A charge of $25.00 per person will apply to any additional modification requested after the original booking has been made and confirmed. If revised after documents are issued, a charge of $70.00 per person is applicable.

A valid national passport is required for all touring holidays, and as the various countries all have their own formalities, we strongly recommend you check with your Travel Agent or the local consulate on the visa requirements. Multiple-entry visas are required for some European countries. Visas must be obtained prior to departure from your home country.

Health Requirements
Vaccinations may be required. Please contact your Travel Agent or your local health department.

Disabled Passengers
Passengers with disabilities are welcome on tour. However they must be accompanied by a companion solely responsible for, and capable of, providing any special assistance required while travelling. EuroVista personnel and other service providers cannot provide special assistance for disabled passengers. EuroVista must be advised in writing at the time of deposit of any disabilities. Due to space limitation, wheelchairs and walkers must be stored in the luggage lockers of our vehicles.

Single Rooms
A number of single rooms are available on request at time of booking. The single supplement must be paid with final payment. Please note: EuroVista Holidays contracts double rooms for single use. However, where this is not possible we will provide standard single rooms. The prices of these are already reflected in the listed single supplement prices. Standard single rooms are usually smaller and often only have one single bed.

Luggage Limits and Portage
Portage at hotels is limited to one piece of luggage per person. Airline luggage restrictions apply to the air travel incorporated in our coach touring holidays.

Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is not included in your tour price. We strongly recommend that you purchase adequate comprehensive insurance which includes coverage for medical expenses, loss/theft of luggage from hotel rooms or any form of transportation, land content and airfare charges that may occur due to cancellation, loss of deposit or strikes.

Important Information on Exclusion of Liability
1.EuroVista Holidays Ltd tours include the services of operators, such as hoteliers, airlines, cruise companies and other operators, who are not agents, servants or employees of EuroVista Holidays Ltd (herein after referred to as the 'Company'). We cannot and do not take responsibility for the conduct of these operators, their servants and agents or for any ramifications of that conduct. Our tours may include activities such as climbing, exploring, swimming and snorkelling. The passenger accepts that these activities involve varying degrees of risk.

2. By booking a tour, the passenger acknowledges and agrees that the Company and the other operator companies, will take all reasonable steps to provide an enjoyable experience, it accepts no responsibility for any loss of enjoyment by passengers due to circumstances beyond its control. The Company further accepts no responsibility for any death, injury, illness, damage, detention, delay (including mechanical breakdown) or any other loss/theft beyond its reasonable control and provides no warranties in addition to those set out under the Trade Practices Act 1974, and nothing herein restricts the passenger from exercising his or her rights and remedies pursuant to law.

3. No passenger will be permitted to embark or continue on tour if their mental or physical condition is, in the opinion of any representative of the Company, such as to render them incapable to care for themselves, or whereby they became a hazard to themselves or other passengers. The Company will not be responsible for expenses resulting in such persons being precluded from completing the touring holiday for any reason.

4. Your Travel Agent will forward deposits and other payments to us on your behalf, but your Travel Agent is not our agent for the purpose of receipt of monies. Receipt of deposits and subsequent payments by the Travel Agent does not constitute receipt of those monies by us and the Travel Agent has no authority expressed or implied to receive monies on our behalf. There is no liability on the part of the Company in respect to any monies paid to the passenger's Travel Agent unless and until the Company notifies the passenger (by way of a booking confirmation advice or payment receipt advice) that monies have been received by the Company.

5. The Company can cancel any ticket or booking or refuse to carry any passenger where payment has not been received by the Company within the specified time.

6. The airlines concerned are held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are aboard their aircraft and/or conveyances. The passengers' tickets, in use by the airline when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the airline and the purchaser of these tickets and/or passengers using these tickets.

7. Itineraries are subject to alteration without notice and intended as a guide only. Alterations may come about due to road or weather conditions, strikes or other reasons beyond our control. Any additional expense incurred by the passenger is not the Company's responsibility. We strongly recommend that you have adequate insurance cover. The Company can give no guarantee as to exact arrival and departure times for carriers and operators used by the Company in the touring holiday and the Company will not be liable for failure to make connections with any other services or attractions beyond its control.

8. If for any reason the accommodation listed in this brochure becomes unavailable, we may substitute the listed property for another of similar standard. Occasionally this may not be possible and if the only accommodation available is of an inferior standard then a refund will be offered.

9. Should you have a complaint in respect of your tour, you should inform your Tour Director immediately. If the matter cannot be resolved through the best efforts of your Tour Director your complaint should be made in writing to the Company within 30 days of the completion of the tour.

10. Any claims or legal action in connection with the Company's provision of services to you will be governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any claim or legal action against the Company's suppliers is likely to be subject to the terms of your contract with them, and may be governed by the laws of other countries.

11. Every effort is made to ensure brochure accuracy at the time of going to press. However the Company cannot be held responsible for printing or typographical errors, or errors arising from unforeseen circumstances.

Nothing in our website/brochure is intended to affect your rights granted by the Fair Trading Act 1986 or other consumer protection laws, which by law, may not be excluded.
